This Week

We sometimes still refer to this as Sunday School. We have classes for Children, Teens, and 3 options for Adults. This is a time that we get together to grow “Deeper Roots” so that we can stand up to the storms in our individual lives by reading and discussing God’s message to us. Even though it was written centuries ago, it still can be applied to our day-to-day lives in our real world.

Each Sunday morning, we meet to worship God with music and prayer, expressing our praises for His blessings to us, and our dependency on Him for our needs. Then our Pastor shares from God’s Word the good news of Jesus Christ and relevant messages that we can apply to our day-to-day lives.

This is part small groups ministry. On Sunday evening we meet to dig deeper into the Sunday morning sermon. It is a great time to ask questions further examine the topic and Scripture with Pastor David.  We would love to have you join with us in this or one of the other groups.

Meeting at McDonald’s, 29th Street and California Avenue to eat breakfast together and enjoy good conversation and friendships.

Members of the congregation meet at our church at 2030 SE 41st to pray for the needs of our congregation and our community.

We’ve been filling plastic eggs with goodies for our community egg hunt. Over 10,000 plastic eggs filled with goodies will be “hid” (think scattered in the grass!)  over 10+ acres of our church property located at 41st and California. There are areas designated for toddlers, pre-school, early elementary, and upper elementary. Be there early. The starter horn sounds at 11 AM sharp on Saturday, April 4.
