Throughout the year, we host events and invite the community to join in. We hope to see you at some or all of them. We have several major events each year,  and several other opportunities throughout the year to get together and have fun.
On the Saturday before Easter, we hide (actually scatter on the ground) over 10,000 plastic eggs filled with
goodies. Each age group have an area on our 30 acres at 41st and California and at the signal, the kids are turned loose to pick up eggs and fill their bags. Everyone young and old have a great time.
Every year in August, we host a carnival with games with wonderful prizes, food, live music, inflatables, a silent auction with great bargains, and plenty of fun and fellowship. We invite the community and our church parking lot fills up with happy people. It is always a great time for everyone, young, old, visitors, and members.
In addition to these events, we have “Movie Nights” when we show family friendly films on the big screen and watch them together with popcorn, candy, and soft drinks. On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we rent space off site to worship together with friends and family, then eat a traditional Thanksgiving of Turkey, Ham, Dressing, and ‘way too much other food. Each Fall we have a Fall Festival at 41st and California with a bon fire, hayrack rides, games, weiner roast, pumpkin carving, apple bobbing ans more for a fun evening in the outdoors.
Other events include a Memorial Day picnic, an occasional evening at the sports center, watching the Super Bowl, and a chili cookoff. We have many other great times together as a church family. Visit the page often to see what’s up at CrossRoads and drop in for a visit.
